Video of Frostbite Series finals 13 prize giving.

Bay SUP paddleboard club just pulled off another fantastic Frostbite Race Series!!! What a great finish which saw the 12’6 coming down to the wire with Mark Slater and Pete Holliday battling out for 1st and a nailbiting, gutbusting finish in the 14′ between Nick Watt and James Hardy. Incredible racing by everyone which was truly amazing to see. It’s so good to see people over the series improve and really enjoy their racing. So here are the many many thank you’s: Andy Joyce and the crew at Surf Steps for hosting the events, you guys have been incredible; Barbara from Nutrichef for the tasty flapjacks; Starboard, Rogue, Mistral, Red Paddle Co, BIC for providing people with boards; Rik from Mistral UK for letting us use the massive inflatables to lay the course and for time keeping; Shaun Taylor and Mike Foad for their great support at stage 3 for the downwinder as without their help it wouldn’t have been possible; Sorted Surf Shop & Animal for some superb end of series prizes; Jo Hamilton-Vale and Marie Buchanan for pure girl power; Paul Riste for taking some great photo’s and helping with time keeping; the Baysup organisors who are Nick Watt, Pete Holliday, Ryan James, Matt French and Mark Slater who are a highly dedicated and passionate bunch of SUPers and last but no means least every single person entered any of the races because you are the people who make it all worth while. Thank you all, we have had a blast and hope you have too. Full stage 5 and end of series points totals coming soon.
The work doesn’t stop there for Baysup and we now start to plan a few events over the warmer months which will be truly amazing. We’ll also be starting the weekly morning training sessions when the clocks change and the social paddles continue twice monthly.
